    Smoked Salmon?

I've been lurking awhile and figure it's time to come out of my shell. I've been having a "snack" of about 2oz of smoked salmon rolled up with 1T Fat Free Cream Cheese spread on a Whole Wheat Low Carb Tortilla. Do you guys think this is bad considering my current goal is to lose some bodyfat?

BTW, I luv this site and the forums. You guys all seem really great!

Well what's the rest of your diet like? It isn't going to hurt if you count the calories into your regular, low-cal diet.

Well, right now I'm eating around 40-40-20 and about 1700 calories a day. Aside from the smoked salmon snack my diet typically includes skim milk, egg whites, 1 whole egg (some days), chicken, 96% lean ground beef, fish, oats, oat bran, kashi golean (1st meal of the day), yams, brown and wild rice, black beans, spinach, mushrooms, green beans, zuchinni, and no more than one serving of fruit a day...usually frozen strawberries(no sugar), tangerines or an apple. The 'salmon wrap' is normally eaten mid-afternoon around 2-2:30pm.

Ur diet looks kewl...do u spread those cals into 5-6 meals? I personaly dont see an issue with the salmon wrap altho I never eat fats in my snack in the afternoon...If it fits into ur diet and macros(oh, I must ask..WHY THE HECK u wanna loose weight!? ) and u enjoy it, why not have it!?

I'm female, 5'6" and weigh about 142lbs. BF I estimate is about 22% but, I haven't had it checked in awhile. I'd like to get down arount 18%. I feel like I look too soft where I'm at now.

I think the cals make sense, estimating ur daily caloric needs to be around 2200 if ur mod. active, ure about 500 under....but if u workout, especially doing cardio on top of that, ur cals may be a little low....
if u look anything like that pic of yours, I dont think that u need to shed bf!
