Alright to rap it up quick, I have 17% body fat and would like to get ripped farely fast. The only thing keeping me from it is my diet. I would like to know if anyone out there could possibly throw together a everyday meal plan for me requiring only what you may have already in your house. I generally have time for a big breakfast, small lunch, and big dinner but try not to eat to late. I'm 6'1 203 pounds and am starting to see a little form come along but would like to know how to get there faster.
everyone here came up with their own plan by reading the stickys. all you have to do is make 1 yourself and then post it to get tweaked. the fact that you plan on eating 3 meals a day tells us you havent read much.
I understand that you need to eat once every three hours but I am a full time student and this puts a damper on that scheduale. Now I am be able to snack every three hours but as far as eating chicken and things of that nature, will most likely be inpossible while I'm at school in between classes. That's why I posted to see if anyone had any unique variations. I have read the stickies and for the most part all the diets seem to be ones for the hard core, body builders.
there are many people here who are students and/or have tight schedules. you just have to make it work. not every meal has to be homemade. that is why they make mrps. it doesnt take long to scarf down a tuna sandwich either.
Everyone works out a diet to suit their needs and lifestyle. e.g. some guys dont mind eating tuna for breakfast. Personally, i would drop dead if i tried that!
If you are in school, one easy option is to do a homemade shake. Grind some oats. add some of the oats and protein powder + natty PB in a leakproof container. Simply add water and shake vigrously for several seconds when you need to consume. Dont expect it to taste like a McFlurry. But it is a simple yet very efficient way of getting in some good carbs and protein easily.
Look thru Jodi's 'guide...' this has lots of very good info in setting up a diet plan as well as a grocery shopping list.
Most important in a sucessfull diet is planning the diet and meals (in advance).
Also simply cutting cals will not get you ripped. Though it may get you slimmer, you will loose muscle as well. Hope you have a training routine planned as well to retain muscle.
