    What is Glysorin?

    It's in my alcohol free vanilla favoring.

    Do you mean Glycerin?? If so it is an agent used in liquids to 'mix' or bind the other ingredients in the flavouring together and make sure it maintains it's consistency.

    Hi Emma,
    Yup.. sorry it IS Glycerin. Does it have any calories? This vanilla flavoring has: Glycerin, certified organic vanilla bean extractives, and water. It tastes sweet so I was wondering if Glycerin could be a form of sugar?

    It is a sugar derivative - but you use SO little that it is basically calorie free. It would only be if you started using it by the tablespoon that you would have a problem.

    Oh - and NOTHING tasty is ever calorie free (exception being water ).
