If you aren't doing cardio why the hell are you gonna cut? If you don't lift weights, why the hell do you care if you lose muscle mass? You have to do cardio to cut and you have to lift weights to have muscle mass to even worry about. So, ya, if you try to cut by just starving yourself, you are going to lose any muscle mass that you have. Why are you on the forum if you don't do cardio or lift weights?

I am currently bulking but I don't like lifting weights and I don't eat much. Would they help me bulk better if I did those things?

What this means is that when we drop a ball and it falls to the ground, it wasn't the ball that moved (down to the ground), but the ground that moved (up to the ball)

Cardio is not always necessary to cut. It is helpful and it will burn more calories and increase your metabolism but you can cut without cardio. I did it for a long time and even competed with only doing cardio in my last few weeks. However, next time I will add cardio in.

i don't do cardio and probably wont until a few weeks out from contest either. i don't think it is the best way to go if you are all natural (just my opinion) as you can't be anabolic all the time. it is the last thing i include into my program. and i incorporate it very slowly. I hate it!!

There's a guy in my gym who is in awesome shape. He's cut and defines like a pro. He doesn't do any cardio. He just adheres to a very strict (chicken and rice) diet and lifts weights like a mad man.

I haven't asked him if he "supplements" with anything though.

But to ask "Will weight training help me not lose muscle mass?"..........

I dunno I'm sorry maybe some things just seem obvious after a while.
