    What do you eat that's not on "the list"?

    I know we all eat brown rice, chicken..etc Things that are on the sticky. But I'm sure there are hundreds of other things that are clean and good.
    Lets post 'em

    Here're mine:
    Kamut hot cereal (just like oats but kamut)
    Rye hot cereal
    Barley
    Ezekiel pita
    Goat's yogurt
    Stevia (all natural calorie free sweetener)
    Pumpkin seeds

    I make my own food all the time, I take a wrap, chicken breat and some fat free cheese, carbs,protein everything I need in a meal, (I include some green veggies and some cottage cheese) and it tastes so good I feel like I am cheating on a meal..

    Dont tell me that I have one two blocks from the house and that was my food crutch for 2yrs. I might go for the chicken bowl but I'll end up with some dubble deckers Seriously I have learned alot of self control since I decided to get back into shape so I might give one a try if pressed for time. Thanks for the tip

    My parents seem to by 'ready brek' whenever I ask for oatmeal or porridge. I also eat processed chicken slices, the same with ham.

    Hmmm... Not sure what is/is not on the list but these are the foods I usually eat:

    Protein:
    Tuna
    Salmon
    Eggs/ Egg whites
    Cottage cheese (1%)
    Protein powders (whey, egg, soy, or a blend)
    Tofu (97% ff)


    Carbs:
    Grains (pearl barley, rolled oats, scotch oats, oat bran, barley bran)
    Legumes (chana dhal, lentils, red kidney beans, white beans)
    ff/sf yogurt (both natural and some flavours)
    Fruit (esp berries and apples)


    Fats:
    LSA spread (like PB only made out of Linseeds, sunflower seeds and almonds)
    Almond butter (natty, salt free)
    PB (natty, salt free)
    Walnuts
    Fatty fish/fish oil caps


    Fibre:
    Wheat bran
    psyllium
    Vegetables (lettuce, tomato, mushroom, cucumber, broccoli, celery, spinach, bok choi, chinese broccoli, brussel sprouts, zucchini, seaweed/nori)


    Herbs/spices/flavourings/spreads:
    Cinnamon
    Vanilla essense
    Lemon juice
    Lime juice
    Black pepper
    Apple cider vinegar
    Boargs amino apray
    Low salt tamari
    Chilli
    Cayenne pepper
    Wasabi (made from powder - no added sugar)
    garlic
    Mixed herbs
    Cumin powder
    sf/low joule tomato sauce
    Promite
    sf jam (occasionally)


    Other:
    Diet Swiss Miss - occasionally
    Diet jelly (jello to the Americans) - occasionally
    Diet Cordial - occasionally
    Green tea - LOTS


    That is about it... Mix and match in desired combinations.
