Tahats not all that much...1 serviong of beans in 1/2 cup(baked beans are horrible for you way to much sugar), 1 cup of raw spinach cooked down is close to nothing, 6 egg whites...hahaha could blink and they would be gone. Ham...eh still not a challange yet...oatmeal would be the hardest part. There may be alot of cals but not alot of food.

Is this just a pointless post or is there a question behind it?

I wanted you to critique it. The beans are low fat and the spinach is one cup after cooking. How the hell DO you cook it?

Id go with 2 whole eggs and 4 whites....need some fats there.

Baked beans...are they the ones in sauce? Those are loaded with sugars. Legumes are a good source of carbs but bush's baked beans are horrible for you. Re consider this choice.

Spinach....just steam it or eat it raw.

Ham...not the best option for protein...ussually loaded with preservatives and a ton of sodium. How about some lean beef, pork, or chicken?

    Oats...perfect!! These are fine!

    Now what are your goals?

I am bulking, and I am eating sugar free low sodium baked beans ( in tomato sauce), have got some fish oil caps and will be havin 1-2 with breakfast as from tomorrow. As for the ham I am drinkin shed loads of water so that should combat the sodium intake.

lose the ham, and save the beans for one of your lunches. I would make it a point to eat the oats too.
Do you really need that many calories in one sitting?

Agreed either drop the beans or put em in another meal....stick with the oats in that meal. Also the ham is a poor quality food iem, tons of preservatives, sodium, and loads of processed fats. You don't need all those sat fat in your diet...stick to some lean beef, pork, or chicken. That seems like alot of cals to be taking in in one sitting...what do the rest of your meals look like? What are your stats and macro's like?

    a lot of food????

    6 egg whites is nothing!
1/2 can of baked beans, nothing!
    spinach, lol!
1 slice of ham, yes ONE slice! nothing!
    protein shake, nothing!

the only thing that is half filling on that list is the oats

how many cals is that all together, can't be any more than about 500-600, and this kid is trying to bulk? i say up the cals even more!

have that omlette on a couple of slices of toast, add some grated cheese over the top, forget 1 slice of ham, have at least 4-5, and make that protein shake a double... i'd also mix in a couple of bananas with your oats, really adds flavour to sticky bland oatmeal, you should try it

now thats what i call a breakfast

Whats the calories in all that? Looks like you need some more efa's....those few fish oils aren't much...only like 2g's fat in each cap.

First, I just want to point out that 5'12" = 6'0" - I'm not trying to be a smartass, I just thought you'd like to know. I also agree that calorie-wise your diet is not much (probably not the best for bulking), but I understand your situation in that you probably aren't hungry after you eat. Chicken breasts are low in calories but I find them pretty filling. Anyway, if you're trying to bulk, just eat bigger portions even when you're not hungry.

Beans 4 breakfast is a smart choice! (Good Protein --- filled with EFA's!! Morning, noon or night how bad do U want it?

try Refried Beans -- Soaking over night either dried Red beans or Pinto beans. simmer for a few hours.....smash em down with a Potatoe smasher. Keep some handy in fridge..will keep up to 1 week. ....U can't go wrong!! Hell of a lot healthier than some of that (Delicious... I know!) stuff called.... bacon, ham or sausage for breakfast? Good for a cheat meal?

Refried beans (give it a try!!)
-- tad bit o' cheese melted o'top (with hot sauce, yum!)
-- or spread over Tortilla (with a few choice toppings) Microwave for 1 minute and you have a Breakfast or anytime Quesadilla!
