    this an alright bread?

I find brown rice is bloating me to much , so I need something else to bring to school for lunch , so I searched my grocery store for 15 minutes until I found this stuff

    100%+ Rye bread
    Ingredients are -
    Rye Flour
    Natural Spring Water
Sour Dough (Rye flour , natural spring water , bacterial culture)
    Salt

This alright? Or would it just be better if I made my own type of bread?

You could try lentils, WW wraps, sweet potatoes/yams, or some WW pasta. If you want bread go for a whole grain type bread.

This is better than a lot of breads - sourdough is lower GI and there is a little more nutritional benefit in it... But it is still not as good as the breads with the whole grains in it... Any chance you have a pumpernickel or sprouted bread available?

If not, it is fine, especially because you are trying to add some mass.

Also - as was suggested - you could always try sweet potato, pearl barley, legumes (chick-peas, beans, lentils) etc...
