    Buffalo Meat

    Anyone here eat it?

I have started eating it when I have some extra cash floating around.
Its about 30% more expensive than chicken, but has more protein and less fat per lb.

    I get it from HEB

    I LOVE it.

I don't buy it too often, at $8-9 a pound, it's something of a treat for me once in a while... but it is excellent. VERY lean, packed with protein, and cooks up AWESOME on the grill with some grilled green and red peppers, some onions. Add a splash of worstershshshersherhsher sauce (i can't f*cking pronounce it, let alone SPELL it off the top of my head! hahaha!), and your'e good to go.

I get mine from Maverick Ranch at the local supermarket.

Yea. I was just going to say. Buffalo/Spicy chicken is great, but not the buffalo he's talking about.

Yes, I have a week off school and little to do but study and workout - so I am trying to get my diet as good as possible too.

Nice, I eat Buffalo Wings all the time. I thought I was being unhealthy but it turns out Buffalo meat is good for ya. Flippin Sweet.

Actually, I like buffalo, venison is the bomb, but I am not a big fan of moose or bear.

venison is in fact, da bombitty bomb. I've never tried moose or bear. Does anyone know if i can even get that kind of meat in south florida?! A juicy bear filet, topped with a light mango and cilantro sauce?

Moose is delicious. I've been having it about once a week.
