How many pounds per week should I be gaining?

I swear im eating 4,000+ calories with over 150 grams of protein almost every day. I think im gaining like 1 - 2 pounds a week though. Whats normal? Im 180lbs right now. Is 200lbs by summer an unrealistic goal?

You do not want to gain anything more than about 1 (or, at a maximum 2) pound(s) a week anyway... So it sounds like you are on track.

keep track of your body fat. that is the best way to tell how much LBM and fat you are gaining. a good ratio would be 1:1 of LBM:Fat
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

WIth that many calories and your body weight, you should be doing ALOT more protein IMHO. 180 lbs, if you are bulking, and you must be cause your not cutting, then you should be doing about 220-250g of protein. That is where you want calories to come from not fat and carbs. Carbs should be around the same as protein, maybe a little higher, but your protein definately needs to go up.

2 lbs a week is more than attainable. you shouldnt gain any more than that, to be safe, though. mtn warrior is right - you need to be taking in more protein.

quick note - at one point on M1T, i gained 8 lbs in 8 days. though after my cycle i lost half of what i gained
    cutting sucks.
