I dont usually keep em this low on a regular basis, but am going to till i reach goal.
in the past doing this, i never had a problem with my metabolism.

500 cals a day!!!!! plus cardio!!!! jeez i think i would pass out and die, im starving about 1-1.5 hours after 1 meal of 500 cals.
ihateschoolmt, tell them about this site and that they should get real advice on this forums. I read all of the posts and starving themselves is not healthy at all. Women have no clue what they are talking about. They are all so afraid that if they eat something, theyll get fat right away. They need HELP.Holy shit. I'm going to tell them what they are doing.

What? You ment the women on that other site right?Originally Posted by shiznit2169

I DON'T THINK SO!!!It's hard 2B friends (when we Both are) losing weight together? Only mine is through 1200 Calories per day and lots of HARD WORK!!! Strength building and Cardio and all that goes with it!!!! what can u do?
That's why i just come here and talk with u guys 4 the right kind of support!!! She won't listen, she has an (i don't care) mentality and will do anything EASY 2 lose, so i don't bother anymore?
It's sad that we can't both Support each other as friends in the Right weigh?
No pun intended.

The real way to loose weight is to eat about 6 small meals a day with about 2400 calories total (for a 200 pound person). The reason you stopped loosing weight is because you slowed down your metabolic rate so much. You will gain some weight back if you start eating more, because your body is going to want to store more fat sence it has been in stravation mode for so long. But you will loose a lot more, faster, if you make the switch.Doesn't look like they want to listen.(her reply)
actually, i stalled for 8 solid months doing higher cal/LC.
I am not starving myself.
My body has adjusted, and doesnt really need any more than i give it right now.
I am still getting proper nutrients, because I am eating the right things.
And the dr. is aware of all of this, says all is AOK and i am in the best shape of my life.
It may not be for you persay, but that doesnt mean its not for some.
I have been on a lc lifestyle for more than 2 years and have had the success of loosing over 150 pounds so far, and keeping it off, so please dont judge me so harshley.

well, telling them to eat 2400 calories is not correct advice either.

That's what Jodi's diet thing says to eat for a 200 pound person though?Originally Posted by Robert DiMaggio

Yeah, but if it is a female carrying around 80lbs of fat it would not make sense for her to eat that many calories.

I'm confused, it says " Cut - 10-13 cals per lb of bodyweight" is it different for females?Originally Posted by Robert DiMaggio

That is not how I would do it if I were training her.
We are talking about an obese person, not a fit inidivdual that is within normal bf levels trying to get cut.
I would start her out at lower calories and gradually increase them as we got her bf% lower and lean muscle mass higher.
hey robert u should go post on there.... u could help em out more then anyone
no one can help them out. they need to seek professional attention. what they have is a sickness. they are mentally messed up. it is really sad.

Oh, so if an obese person is cutting should they do calories for there LBM?Originally Posted by Jodi
Depends on what their LBM is. I trained someone that was close to 50% fat. I put her on a 1500 calorie diet. To be honest, I don't know what her true LBM is because their was too much fat to measure her.
