    Taking a week off...need advice

I think it's about that time to take a week off. My workouts have been shitty lately and I guess I just need a break. Should I just continue my current diet, or should I cut down the cals just a bit? After my cut I slowly increased from 2100 to a current 2600. I plan on increasing until I reach 3300, and then I'll see how it goes from there. So should I keep it at 2600, or should I reduce it seeing as how I will be doing nothing all week?

This a good question, and if you mind me adding to this question.....

Would be good to take a week off supplements? To just drink water and flush out you liver and kidneys?
    Sorry Reg56.

Yeah that's a good question also. I take creatine (mono) and whey. Obviously I'm still going to use the whey because it's a good portion of my protein intake.

Multi and fish oil caps are a must too, I guess.

Depending on your someotype and your metabolism you can drop the cals over the week of rest. Just keep everything clean and you should be fine. No need to stop supps such as whey, fish oil, and multi's...these are essential for your body.

As for creatine...how long have you been runing it for? If you just started within the past few days just drop it and kick the cycle back up again after your break but if you have been doing it for a while I would say continue it...even though your not training you want it in the body or else it would be a waste...it would be gone by the time you start training again. Anything extra will just be discarded....

I've been using creatine since the beginning of December when I started all of this. I took a week off from it a while back, though. I'm gunna drop the creatine for this week and start it up again next week and I'll see how that goes.

Id say drop it for a month or so then start it back up again. Give those kidneys a break.
