Hi my name is steve - i am 28 years old - 5'8 180lbs - i have just finished my third week of going to the gym. MY goal is to lose about 10 -12 lbs - and add some lean mass. i am currently going to the gym 5 days a week. Working one body part a day. I am trying a low carb/ high protein diet. the protein shake i am taking is Nitro-Tech. when i get up I take a protein shake(20g)30 to 45 minutes before my workout at 7am. then go to the gym at 7:30am. when i get home i take another protein shake(40G)within 15 mins of the end my workout at 9:15am. then i go to work. I have lunch at work (tuna fish or chicken on wheat & fruit)at 1:30pm. then i have another protein shake(40g)at 4:30pm. then at 7:30pm i have dinner (chicken,turkey,or ham with veggies). i goto bed at 11pm. I drink water all day. what is wrong and right with my diet? is this diet right for my goals? suggestions would be much appreciated.
