    Weight Gainers

I'm already planning my next bulking cycle. I'm going to bulk for an entire year and do two PH/AAS cycles during that period. My first cycle will be 1-AD/4-Derm, and after six/eight months off I'm going to do 500mg/wk Test E.

Anyways, that's all pointless info. I'm looking at weight gainers in case I wanted to try something different, and I was amazed at the content of some of these. I've always taken Serious Mass before and had amazing results--lots of protein, amino's, calories, low fat and low sugar. Just for S's and G's I peaked at some others. MuscleMilk has 18g of fat!!! Other had between 10-22g of fat per serving. Disgusting!

the fats in Muscle Milk are medium chain triglycerides (MCT's) they are shorter chained fatty acids (6-12 carbon atoms long) and are not metabolised the same as long chain fatty acids (16-22 carbon atoms long). the body uses MCT's more like a carbs with out the corresponding sharp increaase in serum insulin levels.

personally I would spend the money on a good blended protein vs a sugar laden weight gainer.
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

I've never needed to have a specific weight gainer shake...I can gain weight by just adjusting my calories eating regular food....then again I don't have a fast metabolism either. I've always had an easy time putting on size...then for me to cut it seems like I have to starve myself. If I were going to use a weight gainer I would use more food...its cheaper that way...I would just add in more calories by eating more burgers or something high in calories. I would give up eating only lean meats for the higher fat/calorie stuff....before doing something like that I would make sure your cholesterol is in check.

Serious Mass doesn't have much sugar, it tasted good, and it's tough to match the convenience of getting that many calories so easily.

    Hey Musclepump what's up man???

You told me about Serious Mass in a reply to one of my posts, right now I'm using after around a month and half of using Cyto Gainer with great results.

I use 2 to 3 scoops of Serious Mass a day, plus I add a scopp of ON 100% whey, to make it around 48g protein per serving. Sometimes I use water, like for the first one in the morning and milk for my post w/o one. It tastes good and as u say it's low in sugar.

IMO Cyto Gainer and Serious Mass are two good choices, Cyto Gainer Cookies n Creme tastes mad good!!!

I like Serious Mass because no matter how cold or warm the water/milk is, it tastes great. Like hot chocolate if you use it with milk!
