Expiration dates/best used by?

On whey protein bottles they usually have an expiration date, or a best by used by. If you continute to use them after this certain date, does it affect the protein in any way? Sounds like a dumb question but im just curious.. Thanks

Not really too much of a problem - Those expiration dates have built in 'buffer' times so they should still be ok for a while after the expiry date. If you keep it in a cool, dry, airtight container (without exposure to light) then you have even less of a problem...

I would say give it up to 1, maybe 2 months post-expiration.... Then it is time to get yourself some new stuff. Probably still not too much of a problem, but just to be safe.

They assume it's opened within three months of the time it's made. From that point they count expiration. All depends on when you crack the seal.
