    Candy Bars Haunt Me!

I have one word to describe the way I feel right now. GUILTY. Ever since I started cutting I have had chocolate and cappuccino's cravings like crazy. I seriously think about it EVERY second. And this week I have given into my cravings and have had either a cappuccino or a skore candy bar. For some reason, when I say "no" I want it even more. So here's the question, if I go ahead and eat a candy bar-before noon-and up my cardio to 40 min or an hour at the gym (roughly burning 400-600 cal) and eat very healthy the rest of the day will it have that big of an affect on me loosing fat? Will it completly hinder fat loss? I know...I know...Im weak!

It will cause a problem. Don't eat a candy bar. FIGHT IT. The calories aren't the bad part, it's the fat, trans fat, carbs, preservatives, etc...

I had to pass up vanilla cake that someone brought today in class, and I will probably have to fight off potato chips, cake, and everything else I miss tomorrow night at a party At least it will be high carb day

Try incorperating a chocolate flavored whey coffee shake into your diet.

I dont know how you guys do it! I really have to try harder to work on the "mental" side of this. Working out and eating healthy most of the time is easy...its passing on the crap that I cant do. Good job on passing up the cake magneto, wish I had your will power. So no amount of cardio will make up for eating candy?

When I was working at my older job there was all kind of junk food everyday. I could not fight it. I started to buy some protein bars and ate that instead.

I get the same thing. have you tried sugar free Jello Pudding ? the chocolate and the hot fudge are both great. I use real Cool Whip also. 1/2 cup of pudding made with ff milk and 2 tablespoons of Cool Whip is around 110 cals.
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

Whenever I get the chocolate urge, I'll have a Zone Fudge Graham Protien Bar. Having one every now and then won't hurt, but you have to watch it. They taste just like a regular candy bar and it is easy to get carried away.

I eat ProteinPlus bars when I need to. Or on low carb days I'll find a decent LowCarb bar.

Cappucinos aren't that bad! (Unless you're totally cutting out milk). I usually get a plain cappucino (none of this Mocha-caramel, or iced cappucino garbage) made with skim milk. If it's not sweet enough for ya add some sweetener and cinnamon.
    Cappucino with no guilt!

when I get chocolate cravings I take a bowl, put in a scoop of ON chocolate powder, a little cocoa, a little splenda, about a tablespoon of milk, and a little peanut butter. Mix it well and microvwave for 20 seconds. It doesn't sound good at all I know, but i'm always amazed at how good it tastes. Always gets rid of the sweet tooth.

    Right now, you are "weak."

Change your mentality, and you will not be "strong," you'll just be doing what is what YOU want to be doing.

When you have a goal, why would you let something get in the way? Why would you let little candy bar or PB in my case mess me up toward my 1 specific goal?

    Stay strong

I know what you mean....my birthday was last Sunday and my mom made my favorite: Spice Cake. I'm not cutting so I didn't feel too awful about having a cheat piece. It just would have been rude not to try a small piece...right? But I didn't take the leftovers! My wife and kids ate them for me.

And when I get those chocolate cravings I cheat and eat like 3 peanut M&M's and that will actually hold me over. I know that taking less of a bad thing isn't the best...but it's better then eating that whole bag.
