    Help the new guy?

Hi, Im new here and looking for a little help. Im not sure where to start so....I'm 26, 5'8", and 180lbs. I use to workout when I was like 18-20 with my friends, they would tell me what to do, I had no idea, I think this contributes to my weight cause at this height/weight most people are fat but like I said Im really not fat. I really would like to start living/looking healthy and loose this tire around my waste. So this is where Im at. Im over weight but not really fat...or maybe I am hahaha, my diet consists of

    Breakfast
    1 egg
    1 slice of wheat
    cup of coffee 2tsp sugar

    Mid morning snack
yogurt or a piece of fruit
    2-3 handfull of trail mix

    Lunch
    turkey or tuna sandwhich
    2 slice wheat
    lettuce
    mustard

    Afternoon snack
    cottage cheese or hummis
4-5 wheat thins or peta bread

    Dinner
    Fish,chicken,steak
    Vegies
I try to stick to little porsions of everything

    Evening Snack
I honestly have been having a hard time with this one
    its where I break
    some help here Please

I drink about a gal. of water a day
    I love the stuff
its the only thing I drink
    well beer on the weekends...hahaha

    I NEVER eat fastfood, ever.

I've been running 3 miles 3 times a week and I'm signing up to gym this week but I'm going to need help in this area cause I have no idea when, how and what to do there, any info on this would be Greatly Appreciated. My goal is to loose weight, be in shape and look good. I'm not interested in getting big. Im not sure if Im axplaining this right...think Brad Pitt in Fight Club. I seem to have no energy during the day and it's really bringing me down, again I've only been doing this for a week. So any input would be great, thanks guys.

Oh I've been thinking about supplements to like a Fat Burner and protien shakes...should I use them? And which ones are good?

At first glance seems like you arent taking in enough cals. You need to eat to loose. Strange as it may sound, it is true.

Count your cals and macronutrients at www.fitday.com and post them meal by meal as well as total for the day.

Wouldnt bother about those right now. Simply eat right and exercise. Start by reading the excellent sticky 'guide to cutting...' which will help fix your diet. Then post your revised diet for a critique.
