Multivitamins are not as good as the nutrients you get from real foods. The vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants, water, fibre, phytochemicals and other benefits of vegetables are very important in terms of your overall health (both short and long term) - and will, in turn, impact on your muscle growth.

It is really not that hard to incorporate a few servings of vegetables in to a good meal plan... Why don't you?

forget the muscle growth, .... i would be more concerned with disease & cancers? There is no way in hell a pill is going 2 take the place of real fruits & vegetables? In ur case, vegetables? Vitamins R a Supplement....pure and simple. (a little extra?) ...(an added bonus?)

I'm no Rocket Scientist but I would guess the 1st thing to Fitness IS..... Healthy eating Habits? Not pill popping as a cure all.

You have to remember that science admittedly hasn't found "everything" in food, so you need a wide variety to make sure you're getting all of the macronutrients your body needs.

Foxy I read an article my Chris Aceto (sp?) who said in his view you should concentrate your cals on protein, carbs and fat, but if you can spare cals for veg then add them, but to limit them in favour of pro carbs and fat.
