    Mood swings.....??

    Hi,

I've changed my diet quite a lot recently and increased my workout intensity and cardio and am recently feeling less happy than usual.

I know this sounds weird coming from a guy but I feel more emotional and have teared up on occasion. (very unlike me)

    could this be due to:

    a) change in diet and workout intensity
    b) the use of Nutrex Vitrex (increases testosterone by 240% apparantly)
    c) The use of No Xplode
    d) Due to going on a huge drinking and smoking binge last week all week due to my birthday (I dont normally smoke at all or drink that much) and maybe currently 'cold turkey'.

You are probably going to tell me its a combination of all the above. It probably is.

Has anyone else experienced strange mood swings and emotion?????

I find that on my off days, i get super irritated. Especially after leg day when i cant do any cardio to burn off my energy. When im so sore from my routine i can barely move the next day is a love/hate relationship.

If you went on a hardcore binger it could take a couple days to recover from that im sure.

Maybe just take a few days off and hit it hard again...it could be your system got messed up from the binger and your having the symptoms of overtraining..

I experienced a few bad mood swings back in the fall....it was during a cut...if that tells you anything.

Just about tore the head of the girl at the protein counter at the gym for no valid reason other than she screwed up my shake.

Thank god, I have someone who can relate, to help keep me grounded when those moods arise.

i think it could be taking in lower carbs. i know when i was on a lower carb diet i was really moody. It could just be lower cals. Any small imbalance in your body could cuase mood swings and/or depression. Not like major depression but like you said you "tear up" on occasion.

Yeah, thanks...those are my abs when I'm cut. Right now I have to flex to see that.

I really need to post new pics cuz I've increase my overall muscularity and size since then. Seeing awesome results. Going to compete for my first time in a bodybuilding comp in September.

    Thanks for the feedback.

Actually my mood is a lot better this week.

I think it might have been the alcohol and nicotine on my birthday binge week. I possibly became a kind of 'microaddict' and was suffering withdrawl.
    I don't know, I'm no expert!!!

Probably diet was partly to blame too.

    Thanks again!
