Miss a meal or have a bad one???

    Hi,

This is a question I thought of yesterday whilst on a long 3hr drive.

I try to eat every couple of hours to keep my metabolism high.

Now, whilst on the road yesterday it was my time to eat and I debated eating a subway sandwhich (which I know is not all that good for you) vs not eating at all.

What do you think is best?? Missing a meal altogether or having a not so healthy one.

    Rich

PS - I know the perfect answer would be to pack our own meal!!! (but I didn't!)

I would eat something. The subway may not be the best for you but it gives your body something to use for energy. It is better for your body to eat subway than muscle tissue.

yeah, if you were to get something like a 6 inch turkey and ham. it would be some calories for your body to work with, and odds are likely it wont mess up any goals you have. unless you are getting ready for a show in a few weeks. i would say eat something and dont worry about it.

This is why I keep protein bars handy. Protein bars really aren't that great for you either, but I think it's better than missing a meal or eating fast food.

I bought me an extra shaker cup, i put 40 grams of protein powder in it and some oatmeal and i keep it in my car inder my seat just in case i ever need it i just pull it out put water in it adn i have a meal ready, i also keep some extra fishoil and multiV's in my car so im always good to go whenever i need it or in emergency situations...........ALSO DO NOT leave your house without your water bottle...
