    Calories per day

Ideally, how many calories per day should someone trying to bulk up consume? I've been eating lots of protein, but I may be eating an insufficient amount of calories as I just discovered on these forums. What are some good sources of calories?

I usually eat more than 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight, but my caloric consumption is in the 1500 range. I'm guessing that this is way less than I'm supposed to eat.

Yes, I know, I'm a total newb. Some of the ideas I had about eating properly to get big have been totally smashed after I came to these forums.

How much do you weight? 1500 is not even close to enough, unless you way 75 pounds.
