What do you put in your salad besides veggies?

Just wondering, what kinds of "other things" do you put in your salads? I bring a large salad into work every day and I like to add lots of extra goodies including:

    crutons
    bacon bits (the imitation kind)
    almond slices
    crushed walnuts
    Craisins

I only add a little bit of each of those extra ingredients, just enough to add all the extra flavors. It's maybe an extra 100 calories I add. I will also add one hard boiled egg or a small can of tuna for the protein. As for dressing, I just use a splash.

I make a pretty mean salad.

What do you mean? Why edit your post? I saw it, but there were too many points to touch on.. and I kinda didnt understand what you were asking(hence me asking where you were from before). I dont think thousand island/bleu cheese/russian dressing are very healthy. The rare occasion I eat salad, I like it to taste good.

My post(s) were edited bcuz it seemed everyone was making fun of them by replying back w/1 word answers??? so i made it more fitting 4U and replied back w/ a 1 word answer, myself?

btw, no, no, no.... i never once mentioned (thous. island/bleu cheeze/& russian dressing) as healthy dressings Nor did i even mention them in a favorite 2b made Home-made dressing? Nope. Not once.

Someone else mentioned Steroid use in Cows, therefore, i replied and jokingly said, "And here i thought i never used Steroids?" lol. (and those were my exact words.) All the words r there, go see 4 urself. i am sad about the twisting & stuffing of words down my throat. and i wish it would stop.

No.. I am talking about the dressings I use, and them not being healthy. In your original post, you said something about me saying healthy fats werent good(cant recall.. its been edited). Well my dressings arent healthy fats, they are listed above. You are totally mis understanding what Im saying.
