    cooked oats vs. non cooked oats?

    is their any nutrient difference between cooked oats and non cooked oats?

    slightly lower GI with uncooked vs. cooked, probably too miniscule to make any difference, but i thought i'd throw it out there anyway.

    Acutally oats stand out in the world of grains - they have a particular type of structure that means, in terms of GI, they do not really get effected by cooking...
