    Smoothie

I was daydreaming/thinking in school about making an awsome smoothie/shake. I was pondering about the fact that drinking somthing is easier than eating "analogy: Protien foods vs. Protien powder" and i was wondering what i can put in it. I want to stay along the lines of fruit. My goals are to be strong and healthy, some what of a bulk. anyways for the fruit i was thinking of using apples, bannnanas and strawberries. If anyone does this can they tell me good recipies that they use or diffrent foods that would be a good treat but also good for me? thanks

i use oats+protein powder+fruit (pear or apple or berries) + flax meal with water or skim milk (depending on final cal count) as a breakfast shake every morning.

I have some posted on the recipe forum. I like to use frozen strawberries, cottage cheese, bananas, milk/water, and whey protein (you can use all or mix and match).

I don't know why cottage cheese has to be fat free if you're on a bulk. Either way, there is not much difference between fat free, 1%, and 2% (those are the only ones I've tried so far).

This isn't really a smoothie but I just made it and its really good, and really low cal:

    Sugar Free Blended Hazelnut Mocha
    Ingredients:
    2 cups ice
3 oz. Torani Sugar Free Chocolate sauce
1 oz. Torani Sugar Free Hazelnut syrup
    2 oz. milk
    1-2 shots espresso
    Instructions:
Combine ingredients in a commercial blender and blend until smooth, about 20 seconds. Yields 1 16-oz. drink.
