    My Dilemma

I am a skinny guy you could say. I'm a little over 150 lbs and 5'10 with a smallish/medium frame. As i put on some weight, as I am eating a high protein/high red meat diet, while taking protein shakes. I am noticing more weight going to my obliques. I want to get a six pack.. But i realize that would require a low fat diet, which is against the red meat/high protein foods i'm going for. Any suggestions so i can get the best of both worlds, meaning bulk up a bit, but still get a 6 pack. Or is this impossible?

You cant bulk up without not putting on any fat at the same time, and getting a 6 pack involves doing cardio and low fat diet...

id suggest going on a bulking diet first, then once u have achieved putting on some weight then you can shed the un-wanted fat while keeping your muscles...im not 100% sure on how to accomplish that because i dont know much about cutting, someone else might be able to give you more detailed information

If you are going to bulk up you are going to develop some fat, that is unevitable. Luckily it does come off if you cut. If you are not bulking then really consider upping your cardio.

Are you on an Atkins style diet? Read the stickies and through other posts.....that is your problem. The body needs carbs!

yeah, as you should.....if they are simple carbs. Carbs give the body energy, allowing the muscle to use the protein to grow.
