    Packaged Vegetables

Are the mixed ones you get in the frozen aisle a good source for your veggies?

Sorry I ask a lot of questions. I ask so I can one day answer.

Frozen vegetables are fine. Just try not to get the ones that are filled with peas, carrot and corn as these are low fibre, high starch/sugar vegetables.

Go for your broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, green beans, spinach etc etc.

in some cases frozen vegetables are better than fresh. if they are not canned then they should contain no added sodium
