    Thumbs up Bulking

I am nineteen and trying to put on some mass. I've been eating close to 200 grams of protein a day. I recently started eating more carbs, such as potatoes, rice, and bread because i want to put on some size. I've gained some fat in my stomach area and I was wondering if this means I'm eating too much. How long should I go untill I try to cut down a little? I weighed about 155 and now I'm up to about 160, all in a little over a week.

As long as your seeing muscle gains I wouldn't worry too much about the little extra fat that your gaining because during a bulk it's ok to get fat. You need to saturate your muscles with food and nutrients and it seems like your doing a good job at that so keep it up and congradulations.

You will have to gain some fat to gain size, but if you continue to gain fat then I would say your calories are too high.

How many calories are you currently eating per day?
