And you could not have picked a more.... umm... couth way of saying you do not like the taste!?

Anyway - there are lots of things you can add:
Cinnamon/spices such as nutmeg or ginger
    Vanilla essence/extract
    1% Cottage cheese
    Whey/protein powder
    Fresh berries/fruits
    Fat-free/sugar-free natural yoghurts
    Stevia (some people use splenda)
    Nut butters
    Sugar free jams/jelly
Sugar Free syrups (eg: davinci syrups)
    Dried fruits

    Or combine as you desire....

You can also go the savoury route and add things like black pepper, herbs, spices, garlic.... But I am not sure how that would go for breakfast!

depends on your goals and your overall calorie (and carb) intake.

I am exactly the same way. It is a carb-addiction of sorts, but I seriously could (and would choose to, if it were a good idea diet-wise) eat oatmeal all day, with protein powder, blueberries, and other goodies.

I cook oat groats, oatmeal, rolled barley (oatmeal but with rolled barley flakes), rye cereal, oat bran, 9-grain hot cereal...

    I got a freakin' problem!!!

...but I can live with it!!

Natural PB is fine, as long as it fits into your daily intake.
