Your metabolic rate depends on lots of things and your overall weight counts for little - it is your lean mass (weight with no fat), your genetics, your sex, your hormone levels etc etc...

If you tell us what your BF% is (or at least how tall you are and a rough guesstimate of BF% - or even post pictures), and what you are eating at the moment and what you are doing in the gym/daily life we might be able to help out a little more.

I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

Im 5'9 and bodyfat of about 24%

I eat near to what you recommened a while back Emma-Leigh (which was great)
    Like oats, Tuna etc etc.

Just find my metabolism is really slow and I don't keep weight off, my fat percentage is always high. Would like to know how many cals I should be eating to burn off.
Lift three times a week, two lots of spinning and either cross trainer or running for 40mins. Cant fit anymore in. I put it all on my hips thighs and my arse seems BIG!!
I think i'm carb sensitive. I also crave sugar like candy alot, I give in at times but only have a little, how can you be cured from it forever? Annoys me to see skinny girl mates eating chips and sweets and slipping into size ten jeans!! I work out watch what I eat and Im a size 14 on bottom seems very unfair!"!!
