Right before I go to bed, here is usually what I consume.
1 slice of whole wheat bread
---1tbsp of peanut butter
---1tsp of honey
1 scoop of casein protein (23g protein) mixed with 10oz of water
I'm thinking about adding in a cup or two of cooked brown rice. Question is; do any of these things clash with what the other is trying to do?

No, but ditch the honey. Eat 1/2 cup of oats instead of the bread. Before bed you want the lowest GI foods possible.
