to lower your bf% you need to lose fat which obviously weighs something so you would lose weight

or

you could build muscle which would lower your bf% but would more than likely increase your weight.

You could do a body recomposition process. Eat at a little above maintenence. Throw in some cardio on some days and lift heavy on other days. Your diet should be adjusted to enable you to hold on to your present weight. You could make it a bit more effective if you do slightly lower cals on cardio days and slightly higher on weight days. This will allow your body to recomp while you hold onto the same weight. But this process does take a long time to achieve the end result, so plenty of patience is required.

I started lifting in OCT of 04 I weighed in at 215 with a BFI of 33%,I am now weighing 194 with a BFI of 15.7%. It really is not complicated to burn off fat in the beginning but your body will adjust and slow down time too time.

All that I did was start lifting weights, not high reps but just lifting for strength and some size. I started eating 5 times a day 300 to 500 cals a meal and started drinking water like crazy. Never really did much cardio but I do Karate/kungfu twice a week, plus I have a heavy bag in my home gym.

Eat good clean food that your body will use at the time and not store, try to eat every 3-4 hours that way your metabolism stays high and lower your carb intake after 5pm.

Just stay focused and don't look at your scale weight to seriously since muscle weights more than fat. I became obcessed with weigting myself daily and almost gave up a couple of times because the weight was staying the same.

Do not give up,it takes time my friend but the fat will come off.

Society will always fear those of us that make our own path.

Why lose fat at 141 lbs? You want to gain muscle. Trust me Ive been there and when you add ten pounds of solid muscle youll have alot more definition. Your not fat, your just "flat" I use to think I was carrying alot of fat, but it was just because I didnt have much muscle. Trust me on this one, trying to cut weight at our age and size is a big mistake that you'll regret. I do.
