yea after a while with only hot sauce, it starts to taste like crap. im thinking of adding a tblspoon of ketchup, even if it does have 4 grams of sugar. im bulking and i dont really have processed sugars in my diet.

well remember that tomatoes themselves have natural occuring sugar in them. I'm not sure how much of the sugar in ketchup is actually added sugar.

Homer: Hey! I saved your life! That egg sandwich could have killed you by cholesterol.
Lenny: Pfft, forget it, Homer. While it has been established that eggs contain cholesterol, it has not yet been proven conclusively that they actually raise the level of serum cholesterol in the human
blood stream.

It depends on the actual recipe they use... Some recipes have more sugar added than others.
Generally, if you base it on the fact that 1 tbs (15ml) of tomato paste has ~2-3g of sugar (and this has no added sugar) - then once you dilute it with the vinegar, water and other things in the I would think that ~1g of sugar per tbs would be natural and anything over this could be considered additional.

All in all - I wouldn't think there would be too much and it should not be a worry (esp if you are bulking). But be careful - some have high fructose corn syrup and other things in them. So, where possible, make sure it is sugar from other sources.

But you could try sugar free varieties?

Or else, I am sure the guy from Planet Ketchup may offer some answers...

I know its probably not the healthiest way to eat it, but i love my eggs with fat free swiss cheese, and a mix of hot sauce and low carb sugar free ketchup... mmmm tastes great.

The best way to eat eggs though imo is an omelet, just toss in your fav veggies and some good herbs, and youve got a great breakfast. With some oats of course

I dont think He really means 'eggs'
