weird post about food

OK, ive finally been able to eat clean for a month straight . BUT, the funny thing is, i eat .5 to 1 cup of beans, a 6 oz piece of poultry or meat, and a cup of brown rice, and some nuts, broccoli, and im hungry again 10 minutes later. i am bulking up, not cutting.(thats considered alot of food for me)

anyway, the reason why i think im getting hungry is because i dont enjoy clean food. . but i do know its good for me. i think the reason i begin to feel hungry again is psychological, and that i did not enjoy my meal. i mean, theres no way my insulin can spike, i combined proteins, fats, and low GI carbs, and veggies.

can anyone relate to this or i am i going crazy?

I can relate. Not to the 'not enjoying clean food' thing - because I like what I eat - I LOVE the taste of oats and cottage cheese ... I wake up drooling in the morning dreaming about my breakfast... Yes, I am a sad individual but I do relate to the 'always hungry even though I am eating enough' thing.

I have a bottomless pit as a stomach - so I would have to eat about 1kg of oats before it touches the sides.

Best advice I can give:
  • Chug down about 500ml of water before your meal.
  • PACK each meal with vegetables.
  • Make sure each meal has enough healthy fats (fishies, nuts, olive oil).
  • Make sure each meal is high in fibre.
  • Keep SF gum handy.
  • Don't deny yourself too much - once or twice a week have a cheat meal and don't feel guilty about it either. You only live once and a life of denial is not a happy one.

wow i've never had to limit myself when bulking. It's completely the opposite, I say "please no more food!"

Homer: Hey! I saved your life! That egg sandwich could have killed you by cholesterol.
Lenny: Pfft, forget it, Homer. While it has been established that eggs contain cholesterol, it has not yet been proven conclusively that they actually raise the level of serum cholesterol in the human
blood stream.

You are bulking. And, if I remember correctly, you are also WAY too skinny for your own good - so I don't think eating more often would do you any harm at all.

Try it and see - if you gain too much fat too quickly, pull back a little until the gains are more reasonable.

eating slower may also help...It is beleive that the brain requires like 20 minutes form the start of one's meal before it "triggers" a full or satisfied feeling...just a thought.

Just fill up on water. after your eating. I do that all the time during cutting. It sort of helps and you get your much needed water.
