Smile Area specific weight loss

Hi People.

I'm currently trying to do some 'cutting in' and so have been trying various dieting techniques including 'slim fast'.

I also do a 3 day workout each week, a 'push' day, a 'pull' day and a 'legs' day(also include abs on legs day) I'm also doing cardio some mornings on my days off. However my problem is.. I'm burning fat off but in the wrong areas it would seem. My face is getting slimmer, which people have been noticing as well as my legs and arms but in my opinion i dont seem to be shifting weight from around my stomach.

Will doing running, cycling and the skiing machine at the gym burn off much fat around my stomach or should i be doing more specific exercises for my abs?, if so what ones in particular and how often is safe? Or will it just take longer for me to cut right in in my stomach as there is more fat there?

Any help really appreciated...

I would realistically give yourself a good time frame of 6 weeks to see a blatant fat loss from the midsection if you are the type to hold fat there easily. My core... front, back and sides is the only area I collect fat in large amounts if I am not eating right. Naturally you will lose water and fat in other areas which will be noticed quickly by others... for instance your face and neck area. It will go eventually but you have to give it time. Good luck with that.
