Arrow Salad

Hi guys! I'm new to this forum. And I have a quick question. I used to workout all the time and for the last 10 months I totally gave up and gained about 20 pounds. For some reason I can't get back on track. I've been talking to some people about dieting again. I do know how to come up with a nice diet, but in the other side I don't have time like I used to. So my question is. What do you think about a "Salad diet" eat salad for lunch and dinner every day.... Do you think I'll get results from eating just salad?

Any feedback on this? I Appreciate!!!

you would get bored pretty quickly...
Besides without enough protein you will also lose some muscle.

I suggest you vary you meals.
I like salads for lunch only because they don't make tired while I am at work. If I eat too many carbs I get really lethargic

If you had a good breakfast and then stuck to lots of fresh vegetables in your salad then added some protein (grilled chicken, tuna, hard boiled eggs, 1% cottage cheese etc) and healthy fats (avocado, olive oil, walnuts, linseeds, salmon, fish oil capsules) plus had a few peices of fruit through the day (or added a small handful of legumes to your salads) as well then it eould not be too bad.

Just depends on how much you ate and what else you did.
