    What to specifically eat?

Are there any website's which suggest specific foods to eat while on a Cyclical Ketogenic Diet? I researched the forum and understand you eat a lot of fat and protein foods. Or, can anyone give typical meals to consume during the diet?

Do a search or look further down the page, there's a thread called CKD, it explains everything

    w8lifter,

I had already read your post labeled CKD, and did find out the breakdown of % to use for the diet. I was just wondering if anyplace lists foods which are carb free. I am not very knowledgeable on this subject. I mean, I can understand eating eggs for breakfast, or steak for dinner, but am not sure about most food items when it comes to carbs.

    Sorry, didn't realize.

Many things have carbs, don't assume because it's high in fat or protein that it doesn't have carbs, nuts & cottage cheese for example

Check out this link for a breakdown of different foods

You're basically safe w/ high fat meats, ground beef, oils, hard cheeses, heavy creams, etc.

The link below will take you to a chart of foods sorted by carbohydrate content. The same place has charts sorted by protein content also.
