Why donīt you just shoot me already?
When you guys refer to "maintenence" when discussing caloric intake, does this mean the amount of calories my body needs to stay at my weight while doing nothing or does this include exercise?
I mean, lets say I'm getting my maintenance calories and decide to do cardio and lift weights every day, I'm not just going to stay the same weight right?
Why donīt you just shoot me already?
Yeah, maintenance cals while exercising.

Maintainence changes depending on your activity levels.Originally Posted by w^rl0rd
Maintainence = calories required to maintain your weight at your current activity level.
However - your maintainence will change as your body changes...
eg: If you are only just starting training, and your body composition is not ideal, then as you start to train your body will respond by increasing lean mass (and probably decreasing fat mass too) which will eventually result in you having to eat more to maintain your bodies muscle mass.
