    Should I do this?

Typically, I lift from 545 to 700, and run from 715 to 745, and then have a shake then eat a small meal soon afterwards.

    1. What are some examples of good pre-workout meals?
    2. Should I have a Myoplex right after lifting or after running?
    3. Should I lift, have a myoplex, run, then eat dinner?
I'm 33 years old, 5'-10", and 169lb - I'm fairly lean and have an athletic shape. My goal is to cut down to 164lb in six weeks, w/o sacrificing muscle mass. HELP!!

I would eat before my workout.

sip amino acids during the weight training. run. drunk the myoplex shake. wait another 30-60min and then eat dinner.

    ~1-1.5 hrs before:
oats + egg whites + apple
brown rice + chicken + apple
    Chick-peas + tuna + apple

    Or, 30-45 mins before:
Skim milk + banana + whey
Finely ground oats + whey + banana
    FF/SF yoghurt + oats + whey

I would not have it before running - not unless you were willing to wait for 20 or so minutes so you didn't barf it all up during your cardio.

Have a shake with carbs + protein after you finish both. Then have dinner ~45 mins later.
