    Shrimp?

I haven't seen anyone include shrimp in their diets...

100 grams shrimp (cooked, moist heat)
    99 cals/1 g fat/0 g carbs/21 g protein

    canned(1 cup) : 154 cals/3 g fat/ 1 g carbs/30 g protein

Other than the fact that it's high in cholesterol, is there a reason why nobody includes it? Price maybe?

    I love shrimp.

Tiny bit of olive oil, 1/4 quarter onion, fresh garlic, pepper, basil, oregano, tiny bit of white wine, yum yum.

I can't eat the canned stuff, I hvae to buy shell-on frozen. Soak em in cool water for 10 mins or so, pull the tails off, peel the shell, throw in pan.

Is there any negative to eating shrimp? I use it for a quick easy meal twice a week?

I was watching a low carb cooking show and the guy mad jumbo buffalo shrimp.. jumbo shrimp wrapped in 1/2 slice bacon with hot sauce. easy to make and DELICIOUS!!! bake the bacon about 1/2 way then wrap it around the shrimp, secure with toothpick and bake again. toss with hot sauce and serve with celery.

actually what most people think are shrimp are actually prawns. Prawns are a larger form of shrimp that most people eat, whereas shrimp look very similar but are much much smaller.
