Yeah I think you could do that... but I think it would be gross and stick in ur mouth and stuff. I would just take the whey in a small bottle... put in some cold water from the nearest place at school, and shake it up. At first I hated water in whey, but had to do it at my dorm, so I got used to it. It's not bad, you just wanna use no more water than necessary, and make sure it's cold... it'll taste fine.

I'm with you Fashong. I hate shakes with water. I prefer milk. If there's no milk around you can eat it straight. There's no harm in that and it's just as effective.

If it tastes bad with water then change the brand of protein you use.

I've tried several different brands of chocolate and vanilla and all were fine with water.

ON 100% Whey is what I have, and Strawberry and Chocolate have each tasted fine... as long as I put one scoop with only maybe 4 or 5 oz of water... not much... and kept it cold.

If you hate the taste with water you probably wont like it dry.

Just add a packet of splenda to it and the aftertaste is gone.

ive tried like a dab of plain whey on my tongue, and it sorta dries it out a bit... tossing a scoop of it in your mouth would likely be hard to swallow, but if it works for you then do it. I heard Nectar Whey Isolate is very tasty, and since its fruity its probably easy to down with cold water.

You can eat it from a spoon if you want... I would think water would be better (it would stop it from sticking in your mouth so you could just chug it down quickly)...

Why not just take a tub of yoghurt with you to school and just stir it into that? Or, store some long life milk cartons in your locker and use those...

Still, at least with ON brand, I really don't see how it's very bad at all if the water is minimal and cold.

I believe the key is finding a whey protein that not only contains the ingredience your looking for but also breaks down well.
