In my Glycemic Index book it lists popcorn as somewhat high GI. There aren't many calories though in plain popcorn. You could hot air pop it and make it even worse.

It can be used if combined with a protein food, which will lower its GI...or, as a post workout high GI carb with whey.

If it's fat, salt and butter free.. just eat cardboard... it's about the same for taste, right?
Uttt... You touched it, now you have to eat it.
