A lot of people take it out of cutting diets because it is very calorie/carb dense - so watching protion control is hard. It also has very little fibre, water, vitamins or minerals and is therefore not as healthy for you as whole grains, legumes or sweet potato.Originally Posted by gonzo719
It is ok (I wouldn't eat it all the time and I take it out if you were cutting for a competition)...
If you want pasta - make sure you are very careful with portion size and use a home-made sauce on it.
