    Good/Bad Sugar

Are there good and bad sugars out there. For example, is the sugar in fruits better for you than the sugar you buy from the store. Is there a difference in the kind of sugar or are all sugar alike?

Different sugars have somewhat different properties in the body. They can be quite different on the glycemic index as well. Some are quite tricky...fructose, or fruit sugar, for example is a very low GI carb, however, it is very easily turned into bodyfat through conversion in the liver.
