Calculating the fat

Okay, I have read the sticky's and I know what sources I should get my fat from. However, when I add up all of the fat that I intake, should I only be counting the fats from good sources like flax, fish oil, almonds, etc? Should I not count the fat in carb sources like oatmeal? I'm guessing I should count the fats in Chicken and beef though right?

You need to add all of it in - if you are eating enough oatmeal and chicken it can add up to a significant amount.

Be aware though, don't count grams of fat and protein and carbs - count calories. Protein and carbs have 4 calories per gram whereas fats have 9 calories per gram.
