    bulk bulk bulk

finally decided i need to put some skin on my bones...

    157 lbs @ 6'0''. slim yes i know

went and bought the 6lb gnc 2200 weight gainer gold. got home and found out this damn boulder of a supplemnt tub was only good for 5 servings.

should i expect any gain off of this? or will i need continous shakes?

i know i will need to continously take the shakes to keep the weight but will i add any weight from these 5 servings? im mixing it with 2% milk. says 3 scoops every shake and damn its alot.

Yes - you can expect to gain a lot of fat and a lighter wallet.

You can use it - I suggest you use the tub as a door stop to prop open the door. You will need something to hold the door open for you when you bring in the FOOD shopping you are going to have to do!

Go to the grocery store and get yourself some QUALITY FOODS to feed your body - Oats, brown rice, pearl barley, sweet potato, sprouted bread, wholegrain pasta, skim milk, fruit... Chicken breast, cans of tuna and salmon, lean red meats or game meats, eggs.... nuts, seeds, olive oil.... and throw in some vegetables as well..

The focus on training, eating adequately and resting your body...

You'll find your gains are more pleasing.

You can make your own shakes. Ground oats+whey+fats. Much cheaper and better healthwise. But as Emma said, go out and get real food. If you are looking to fix your diet, start studying the sticky 'Guide to...'

thats the thing, im not trying to fix my diet at all. im just using the weight gainer to put on the extra weight and mass to try and be able to weigh more than 160 lb weakling lbs.

i work out 5 days of the weak so im not really worried about it being to much fat. of course some will be but thats what cuttings for. im just worried about size and strenght.

and another problem is, thoses foods you listed, and the ones listed under the shopping list. i would prob eat about 7% of those foods. nothing else i could enjoy eating.

but back to my main question for the post, will i notice any weight gain from drinking these 5 servings? i mean of course time will tell, today will be drink 3....

You don't care if the weight you put on is mostly fat?

Just working out is not going to protect you from fat gain - sure, it helps - but it is not 100% effective.

    **sigh**

Am I the only one on the planet that actually enjoys these foods?

If you end up taking in more calories than you require then yes - you should gain weight.

Emma, if he's an ecto and assuming the weight gainer he bought is high cal, high carb, but very low sugar, I wouldn't think it's too bad for him to be taking it. He needs the mass anyways, so while all your suggestions are great, I think the weightgainer may work for him until he runs out, at which point he can start making his own weight gainer shakes.
