hey bro's i have a q for you all. sometimes when drinking protein shakes i go over board like 4 scoops just whey(45g protein.) and 2.5 scoops ons(60 grams pro) plus 3 cips milk. it just taste so damn good. will this hurt or no. i drink like 5 gallons water a day. i eat round 600 grams protein a day, 800 grams carbs, 80 grms fat. i am 275 lbs.

Your body can only process 40g of protein every 2hrs, on average. Taking in that much protein is going to make you shit a lot, and the excess will be stored as fat after is it converted to glucose.

First things first:
* Sleep more - 6 hours is nowhere near enough. You should be looking at 8-9 hours to allow for proper recuperation and growth. Afterall, muscles grow in bed.
*Your protein intake is far too high - for someone your size, I would recommend no more than 350g a day.
* 5 gallons? Are you sure your drinking that much. Coz that is a lot of water to be drinking. Im not going to say that that is a bad thing, but generally i would go no more than 2 gallons, maybe 3 ona hot day.

Good day.

5 Gallons of water. If you can drink that much then great. It can't harm you in any way except for spending most of your day finding the men's room. Whey to much Protein per meal.

I'm guessing you mean that you wake up ever 2 hours when your sleeping to eat something. I would stop doing that because your body needs to get in the deepest "stage" of sleep for optimal recovery. It takes a few hours to get there and if you keep waking yourself up, you may be hurting yourself.

5 gallons, I'm pretty sure, would result in hyponatraemia.... So I am guessing you were over-estimating.

In terms of protein - eat it if you want, but you are wasting your money. That much protein will be digested and absorbed into your body (the capacity of digestion of the human GI tract far exceeds "40g of protein" or anything else like that)... but once it hits your liver it is simply going to be converted into glucose via gluconeogenesis - because there is no way that your body can use/assimilate that much for muscle/tissues. So you would be better off saving your money, buying some oats and eating those instead.

Yes you can. Through all the water comin and going in your body, you lose too much sodium and lack of sodium leads to fast loss of brain tissue...

If you take too much sodium, you can have severe cardiovascular problems and a crapload of other health-related probs...There was some post about 101 bad things about salt i read a while back... someone should post if it they find it...
