Thats a pretty broad question, but if youre trying to gain muscle, it will be pretty hard if your diet is low in carbs. and whether youre trying to gain muscle or lose fat, it is never a bad idea to supplement with whey protein.

It really depends on if you need the extra source of protein. If you do - then supplement. If you don't, then don't.

Sure, whey is an ideal PWO protein (due to rate of absorption and composition of amino-acids) - but it is not "a rule" that you have it.

Protein from real food is best....supplementing a complete protein supplement is ok if you don't eat enough.
I highly recommend all IronMagLabs supplements!

If you are getting results without it then don't worry about it.

If you want to buy it - or if you need more protein and you can't eat any more real food, then buy it.

I like it because I can take it in my gym bag, for a shake following my WO.

Also it is a quick way (about 30 seconds) for me to gulp down 50-60 extra grams of protein before bed

I have heard of other people taking things like babyfood and trailmix,

    after their WO...

    Depends on what you like...

I drink it for speed and convenience
