i use 2 scoops (about 50grams of pro.) for pwo shake. while im bulking or cutting. when im cutting i stop using milk in my shakes..i didnt really answer your question, maybe someone else can give their opinion.
Ok....on days during my cut where I just lift weights, how big should my PWO shake consist be? I plan on having about 2400-2500 calories a day spaced out through seven meals so what should I put in my PWO shake to make sure I maintain muscle....while I was bulking my shake consisted of 70g oatmeal, 1 scoop whey, and 5 oz. banana

Depends on your lean mass.... I like to keep PWO shakes constant cutting and bulking - when starting to cut the last place you want to take out calories is pre and post workout.Originally Posted by ddawg

0.5g carbs per pound lean mass
0.25-0.33g protein per pound lean mass
Some people are a little cautious of these amounts - so if you are, then at least aim for something around:
0.33-0.5g carbs
0.2-0.33g protein
Or, have:
0.33g carbs
0.2g protein
In your PWO shake and then have the same in your PWO meal ~1 hr later.
