Im currently on a bulking cycle, I stand 6'2" tall and weigh 187lb. I eat around 3800 calories a day. Is this enough for a guy my height and weight on a bulking cycle?

i really really doubt you are takin in enuff food...u dont weigh enuff for your height...i suggest bumping to 4500 a day and see where it takes u...everyones metabolism/lifestyle(as in daily calories burned) makes an impact on how much u need to gain lean mass...if you are hungry then it means your body is in starvation mode and you are already burning muscle... u do know that ur body will eat its own muscle when its in a catabolic state..to maintain anabolism u must eat every 2-4 hours and eat clean..

Where are the veggies? Load up on veggies as much as you want. They are full of nutrition, low in carbs/cals and will fill you up.

I agree that you could add some veggies to fill you up, but if the hunger pains are excessive, you could take green tea extract.

I have never had hunger pangs during a bulk. I have busted a belt or 2, however.

    Exclamation

Tuna and rice will go right through you, meaning that you won't feel satiated, at least that has been my experience. Adding fiber and healthy fats to a meal like that will increase the feeling of fullness and probably hold you over to your next meal.

And overall, as the others have mentioned, you might need to take in more calories.

Got a cheat meal/day? That might help too?

Ok, thanks for all the help guys. I will try and get more veggies into the diet and see where that takes me. I'll bump up to 4000 a day, see how I feel and make adjustments from there.

    Thanks fellas
