    diet coke

Man, I can't get enough of this shit. It's free at work and sometimes I be drinking like, 3-4 cans a day. I like the taste WAY better than regular coke.... that shit is too sweet for me.

But could I die from that shit? Is too much soda bad for you even if it's DIET? I know some of y'all drink soda, but is it bad for when you work out? Should I limit myself to one can a day or just stop it altogether?

Well - although there is not concrete evidence to suggest that the artificial sweetener is going to be causing you harm, I would still limit it to one (or a max. of two) can(s) a day... Also - it is not just the artificial sweetener - there is the caffine as well.

You are much better off getting most of your fluids from water.

I'm hooked too man. I don't drink coffee, so every morning at work I crack one. I hope the aspartame problems are hype (finger's crossed)

    Me 2

I used to drink coffee and Diet Coke all of the time. I spoke to the girl doing my diet and she said I could have 1 and 1 each day, that is one cup of coffee with skim milk and 1 sweet and low and then later in the day one 12oz Diet Coke. It was tough at first, but now it is my reward. I get the coffee after a good cardio session and I get the diet coke right around 3:00 when the carb cravings are bad.

what about those diet cokes that say "caffine free" on the can? I dunno if u have them available where u live but its those gold coloured diet coke cans that claim to be caffine free.... should I believe it? still tastes the same as regular diet coke.

and yeah I don't drink coffee either.... coffee is wack. that stuff just rots your stomach. I drink that green extract tea (where it makes u shit in the morning if u drink it before u sleep). and also camomile tea sometimes.
