I bet the title grabbed your attention, anyway it's not what you think I'm actually about to go into the Navy.Now that I cleared that up, I will get to it,I'm 5'8'' and use to weigh 215 lbs. then around Dec. 03 I decided to lose the weight,from Dec03 to May04 I went from 215 to 145(by cutting down my calories and with cardio) I lost alot of fat, but also alot of muscle,after that I was stupid and stopped exercising from June04 to Oct04 and just ate enough to maintain weight,but I learned my lesson so from Dec04 to now I've been weight training,doing cardio(the past month I switched from a 35 min cardio to a 16 min HIIT) and upped calorie intake (1900-2100) and making healthier/better food choices Whey shake,lean protein,fish,veggies,ww breads,cottage cheese,oatmeal,etc...and the pre bed snack cereal w/whey or cc or low fat ice cream w/cc. But throughout all of this I was and so far still unable to get rid of the fat around my midsection and a little around my torso, some people have told me that I wont ever lose it due to genetics and such, but I'm really lean every where else.my current stats 5'8'',160(ish),14%BF,1900-2100 cal.,weight lift 3X a week, cardio 4X a week(3 HIIT and 1 Moderate).Any answers to these questions would be appreciated.Thanks.
1.How can I add some LBM and lose this damn belly fat.(I just want to be leaner and add a little more muscle to my frame, not to be a body builder)
2.Will I sabotage any progress or results by having a cheat snack?
3.What should my calorie intake be and what ratio (protein,carbs,fats) currently at 1900-2100 cal ratio i'm guessin is 50/30/20 or 50/35/15
4.Since I've been going to the gym and upping my calories my waist has gotten bigger, but it still looks the same, it went from 32in. to 34in. is this fat or muscle or both?
